“1 Day 1 World” 5:00 – 6:00

The garden is beginning to produce!  Seeds sown on April 2nd are looking mighty stellar today. Nothing is better than harvesting  fresh Romaine lettuce to make salad for the evening meal.

Plus! Our raspberries are ripening! Fresh lettuce, fresh berries with raspberry/lime vinaigrette …

Wasn’t that fun?

Raspberries- fresh picked

  1. Good for you, Jane! So neat and tidy. Our Romaine has long since bolted, but tomatoes, peppers, squash and eggplant are coming on.

  2. Your raspberries look amazing! And I love the sound of raspberry/lime vinaigrette. Thanks for stopping by my blog too 🙂
    Jude xx

  3. Looking forward to the next hour. This is a fun theme.
Question, can you suggest how to find the other participants’ photos without having to scroll through the lovely comments folks are leaving that relate to your entry?

  4. Thank you, Jude.
The raspberry/lime vinaigrette is an organic dressing made by Litehouse. In the refrigerated section of the produce department. I wonder if it’s available in UK?
If not, I think it would be doable to try mixing the raspberry/lime flavors to taste.

  5. I have bought a raspberry/black pepper dressing locally which was pretty good. But the lime addition is very enticing.

  6. I’m glad you’re having fun with the theme. 🙂 You should also be able to find participants posts through the reader by searching 1 Day 1 World. It’s great to see so many nice comments but you’re right, it can be a lot of scrolling to find each individual post link. I’m sure there is another way to organize things – if anyone knows a great trick please let me know. 🙂

  7. I think I just found an answer… after this experiment:
_ I went to WordPress Reader. Under “Tags” I entered 1 Day 1 World
    _ Nothing came up
_ Then I went back to one of my entries. Added “1 Day 1 World” as a TAG; updated post
_ Went back to WordPress Reader. Typed- 1 Day 1 World
_ Voila! The post I tagged with your challenge title popped up on the Reader.

If you ask participants to tag with ” 1 Day 1 World” that may do the trick. I don’t know if tags are case sensitive, do you?

  8. Thanks for the test, Jane! I think some bloggers have tagged their posts 1 Day 1 World Project so you might want to check that in the reader and I’ll include a note with next weeks post too. 🙂

  9. Perfect! That does, in fact, seem to do the trick!
Guess this is another… it’s good to learn something new every day. (Although, I may have been a little slow to catch on to this aspect of using tags in blogging…)
